Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bowl
Ingredients
1 medium apple
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk of your choice
1 tsp cinnamon
Toppings of your choice (e.g., peanut butter, almond butter, maple syrup, nuts)
Directions
Chop the apple into small pieces.
Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Once hot, add the apple, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
Set aside a few apple pieces for topping later. Add the rolled oats and milk to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal reaches your desired consistency.
Serve the oatmeal in a bowl. Top with the reserved apple pieces and your favorite toppings.
