Alfredo Potatoes
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp black pepper
2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 lb baby potatoes (type and quality up to your preference)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Wash, cut, and then place potatoes into a baking dish.
Start to prepare alfredo sauce by adding butter and heavy whipping cream into a large skillet and letting simmer over low heat for a few minutes.
Whisk the garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper into the mixture.
Whisk in grated parmesan cheese until it melts.
Pour sauce into dish with potatoes and bake for 30 minutes or until desired preference.
Optional: during the last 5 minutes of cooking, put more grated parmesan cheese on top of the dish and place back in the oven to finish cooking.
